FAQ

  • How often should I clean the Airdog air purifier?

Cleaning frequency depends on usage and air conditions, but many users clean the plates every 1–6 months. Regular cleaning maintains performance and sensor accuracy.
  • How effective is Airdog in improving air quality?

Many users report noticeable reductions in allergy symptoms, odors, and dust levels after using Airdog units like the X5 or X8 — including improvements in sleep and respiratory comfort.
  • Do I need to replace filters regularly?

Unlike HEPA purifiers, Airdog’s main collection plates are washable and reusable, meaning there’s no need for frequent disposable filter replacements — significantly lowering maintenance costs.
  • Is Airdog air purifier quiet?

Airdog models typically operate quietly, especially in lower speed or sleep modes often perceived as quieter than many traditional purifiers. In some harsh environments, it operates automatically in powerful mode to purify the contaminated air, which may be louder at high fan speeds, depending on the size and environment.
  • What makes Airdog different from traditional air purifiers?

Airdog uses patented TPA® (Two-Pole Active) electrostatic technology, which actively charges and attracts ultrafine particles (down to 0.0146 μm) to washable plates — instead of relying on passive HEPA filters that trap particles in fiber media. This reduces recurring filter cost and energy loss due to clogged filters.
